The New York Post reports:

An anti-NYPD activist group is organizing an American flag burning event in a Brooklyn park Wednesday night — just three days before the Fourth of July.

“Disarm NYPD” announced a “Burn the American Flags” rally on Facebook, inviting people to “set fire to this symbol of oppression” in Fort Green Park at 7:30 p.m.

Mike Gendron, Proclaiming the Gospel writes;

"In the spirit of unity and charity, the Catholic Archdiocese of Milwaukee is encouraging Catholics to pray for their Muslim brothers and sisters during the holy month of Ramadan. They are instructed to pray that the Muslims' fasting and almsgiving will be pleasing to God, and that they may be enriched by their reading of the Qur'an."  

While in Oklahoma...

Following a legal challenge from an apostate Baptist minister, the Oklahoma Supreme Court has ruled that a Ten Commandments monument placed on the grounds of the Oklahoma Capitol building must be removed because it violates the state Constitution’s prohibition of government property being used to support religion.
