The churches failure must be our success.

Where the church has failed, we must succeed. No longer can we swallow and follow the erroneous teachings of pastors, teachers or conference speakers. We must neither grumble nor complain about the churches failures, shaking our heads in sorrow, but through much prayer, petition and supplication enter the throne room of God, crying out for the lost and dying among us.

No longer can we wait for “the church” to do what we “the church” have been called to do. No longer can we glide and glow following every wind of doctrine; drawing prayer circles, seeking extra Biblical revelation or searching for the God within us - “christian” mysticism.

We are a Christian remnant in the midst of Christendom's ruins, true to the Person of Christ, true to His Word, and we must be true to our calling.

“I gave her space to repent . . . and she repented not.” Revelation 2:21

The remnant remained, vs.24, not with the hope of a converted world or a restored church but with the bright and blessed hope of the LORD' coming as the Bright and Morning Star to hear Him say, “Well done good and faithful servant.”

They are not the church - WE are.!!.

Worldly philosophies bring enslavement to Satan’s strategies.

“…while we were children, we were held in bondage under the elemental things of the world.” Galatians 4:3

“One of the churches jobs is to teach and to train. Our LORD insisted that we “make disciples” - believers that are every growing, learning and maturing. It is not enough just to bring people into the Kingdom. The Church must bring those that have been “born again” into obedience. The “new birth” is the beginning - not the end.

The Church has the task of training people to take their place as warriors in the battle. We must become growing, maturing adults in God’ army; learning righteousness and obedience, learning to be part of the solution rather than part of the problem.” Henry M. Morris III-ICR

With God all things are possible. We must never forget the greater our awareness of the importance, the wonder and the awesomeness of our God’ power through faith in His Son, His Word and His Faithfulness, the stronger our own spiritual strength, faith and trust will be. We must study to show ourselves approved of God. God has made us a new creation, created in righteousness and true holiness.

We have the Holy Spirit within us; the Power with which God raised Jesus from the dead. We cannot compromise. We cannot tolerate anything that exalts itself against the knowledge of God. We must speak up when we see sin entering the church disguised as tolerance, ecumenicalism or a new revelation. We must sound the alarm pointing out error and warning the sheep when we hear false doctrine spewed from pulpit or airway touted as truth.

In a world that is dying and going to hell, we must be part of the solution.

“In such things as war, the errors which proceed from a spirit of benevolence are the worst.” Karl von Clausewitz

“We must be fully armed because we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Ephesians 6:12

"The love of the world' way of thinking, embracing the world’ way of doing things not only dilutes our ability to think clearly as a ‘soldier’ belonging to the LORD’ army but will, if not avoided and resisted, cause us to betray the very One whom we are called to serve. It is entirely possible for a Christian to have his mind corrupted, his faith shipwrecked and to fall from steadfastness to become entangled in the world’s philosophy so that he might be overcome by the very enemy he is supposed to be fighting.

It is vital that we stay alert to the dangers of the world’s philosophy by which we learn to recognize our adversary." Henry M. Morris III-ICR

Absolute victory or eternal hell are counter to the view many Christians have of God. Surely God will accept the "good" person or overlook the ignorance of “the heathen” or “find a way” to save everyone. But the one attribute of God that overrides all others is His holiness. His love is subject to His holiness, His justice and His mercy are subject to His holiness. Those who reject Christ and all He has done will be rejected by God and cast into an eternity separated from the goodness and holiness of the Creator.

We are a part of the LORD’ army, part of that which is good and godly and noble and virtuous and praiseworthy. And while God withholds His judgment, for now, giving men time to repent, we who are part of His army must do His work on earth while there is still time...

Stay tuned.

I began this post with plans to write on the sad state of America. The corruption, the lies, the deceit within the government. Pointing out the apparent Islamic agenda of the current administration, the socialistic mindset of our governmental leaders and the schools and universities with their left leaning positions that teach our children right is wrong and wrong is right...

I had plans, God had other plans.

“For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every high thing that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. And we will be ready to punish every act of disobedience, once your obedience is complete.” 2 Corinthians 10:3-6

Strongholds are like fortresses, fortresses cannot be torn down by a single person acting alone, but require an army - the army of Jehovah God.

‘Paul presents a battle plan for the LORD’ army, for His church. A responsibility for Christians collectively. The weapons are not the “armor of God” for the individual believer. To pull down strongholds, war engines are needed. Ephesians 6 describes God’ provision of spiritual armor each of us should wear as we go into spiritual battle. From an individual perspective, however, the sword of the Spirit and the helmet of salvation wouldn’t do much good against a fortress. A collective might is needed - the collective might and war machines of the Kingdom and of The Church of which we all are a part.’ Henry M. Morris III-ICR

“No one who engages in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please Him who enlisted him as a soldier.” 2 Timothy 2:4

We must never lose sight of the ‘war’ [used in 2 Corinthians 10 it is the Greek word strateuomai - specifically referring to a life-long battle] we are fighting, nor the intense hostility of the enemies we face. Satan' agenda is the destruction of God’ people.

All Christians are called to fight this intense spiritual warfare…

Stay tuned.

Would you believe:

Ari Mandel grew up in an orthodox Jewish family. After a stint in the U.S. Army he gravitated toward atheism. As a joke, Mandel recently put his place in heaven up for auction on eBay. He explained that he didn't really believe in heaven any longer, but that he had lived an exemplary life full of good deeds.

In the auction, he offered two contracts: one that transferred his heavenly reservation to the winner and a second that guaranteed he wouldn't do anything in this life to put that reservation in jeopardy.

What started out as a prank, though, appealed to bidders desperate to make certain they had a place in heaven at the end of this life. Bidding for Mandel's assumed place in heaven reached almost $100,000, with 181 bidders, before being pulled by ebay.

The fool says in his heart, "There is no God..." Psalm 14:1

or how about this:

A Christian minister was given the opportunity to write an op-ed piece for the Washington Post. Would he write about war and peace? Would he choose the decline in faith among America's young people, the increasingly empty pews in mainstream Protestant churches? How about the ethical decline in society? Would he share the gospel or write about any of the myriad of morally troubling issues?

....the choice was easy.

James P. Marsh, Jr. Methodist pastor, wrote that the issue troubling him so much that he had to write about it in the Washington Post was none of the above. His troubling issue was people standing and singing "God Bless America" at Washington National baseball games.

“I charge you therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long-suffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; …” 2 Timothy 4

Perhaps that time is now.??.

The more I read and hear, the more confirmation I have that my dream of several years ago was from the LORD...

‘I stood looking up at a banner on which was written - “Get Ready and Be Prepared” I heard myself ask of the LORD - “how do I get ready and be prepared.” Clearly I heard His response - “You read My Word, you study My word and you pray.'

“It’s time to prepare for hard times, my friends. And, if you’re a bible-believing, Christ-following Christian, I believe the coming years will be particularly troublesome. I say “bible-believing, Christ-following Christian” because our degenerating culture has all but stripped the biblical definition of the word “Christian” from today’s collective conscience so that it has lost much of it’s scriptural meaning, even among many of today’s attending church members.

We need to be ready. We need to be willing. And we need to be empowered, not by the mere passion of patriotic zeal, but by the Holy Spirit of God and His Word. It is not we against themit is an angry and rebellious world against God, and we would do well to remember that when the devil comes knocking at our door demanding more tolerance, diversity and unity.”

"For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart."  Hebrews 4:12

Be not moved away from the hope of the Gospel.  Colossians 1:23

"Half the professing Christians of this present day do not know their heads from their heels and the half that do know seem inclined to take to their heels and run rather than stand steadfast in the faith. Between here and Heaven we will always have to fight, and frequently the severest struggle will be at a time when we are least prepared. Do not grow secure, or presumptuous, remember, as we travel along the King’s Highway there are thieves on both sides of the road.

There is but a short space between one battle and the next in this world.

But there is hope…

We have the hope of salvation. We have hope that one day we shall be presented holy, without blame in the sight of the great Father. We have hope that one day we will stand before God, “without spot or wrinkle” cleansed from all guilt, sin and corruption. We have hope that we shall be like Christ. We have hope that His holiness shall be our glory. We have hope that we shall see Him face to face. We have hope that we shall stand without fault before the Throne of our Creator our Saviour and our LORD."
Charles H. Spurgeon

My hope is built on nothing less
Than Jesus’ blood and righteousness.
I dare not trust the sweetest frame,
But wholly trust in Jesus’ Name.

On Christ the solid Rock I stand,
All other ground is sinking sand.

We have hope.

Lunch was difficult...

We sat and listened with grief and sadness as our precious Jewish friends told us why they did not believe in Yeshua -Jesus; the Jewish Messiah.

The reason they do not believe - they watch Christians.

William Jefferson Clinton, George W. Bush, Barack Hussein Obama, all profess to be Christian. Kenneth and Gloria Copeland, Benny Hinn, Kim Clement, Rodney Howard Brown, T.D. Jakes, Rod Parsley, Marilyn Hickey, Paul and Jan Crouch, the list is endless, all wear the title Christian. Preaching and teaching to millions all the while delivering a message far different than the one taught by Jesus, the prophets or the disciples...

And the lost among us are watching.

For millions, Christianity is a union of convenience, a social networking experience. There is no intimacy or fellowship with Jesus; they are white washed sepulchers, appearing beautiful on the outside, but within, full of dead men's bones… practicing shameful lifestyles that are little different from those of unbelievers. The sins of adultery, fornication, greed, lying, immorality, pornography, drunkenness, homosexuality and drug abuse; rampant among those claiming to be followers of Jesus...

And the lost among us are watching.

"Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things." Philippians 4:8

It is wise to count the cost of being a true Christian. It is wiser still to count the cost of NOT being a true Christian.

Dark grows the night because God' children withhold the light. Bright grows the day whenever the messengers  of the LORD have the courage of their convictions.

Think on these things.
