'You shall have no other gods before Me.' Deuteronomy 5:7
"Speak to the brokenness of My people. Speak healing in My Name, speak judgement for the disobedient among you. Do not hold back, do not refrain from speaking My Word to My people.

Time draws to a close. Each day you draw a day closer to My return, yet millions refuse to prepare. Speak child, speak in My Name. Speak truth to My children. Speak loud, speak long, speak now.

The ways of the world are wood, hay and stubble. None are righteous who follow the ways of the world. Hearts and minds focused on earthly pursuits will too quickly lose sight of what is important - they will miss the goodness of God as they race to achieve success in the eyes of the world.

Strive to please Me rather than man. Your idols will fail in days ahead. Choose you this day whom you will serve. [Joshua 24:15] Beware of idols, they are a trap that will lead man down a path from which he will not soon recover.

Beware; your mind is cluttered with many things, job, family, schedules...there is little time for the things of God. Rejoice for your names are written in the Book of Life has a hollow ring to it as you race from one thing to another. Beware of idols for what does it profit a man if he gain the whole world and lose his own soul? [Luke 9:25]"

'The law of the LORD is perfect, restoring the soul; The testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple. The precepts of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart; The commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes. The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever; The judgments of the LORD are true; they are righteous altogether.' Psalm 19:7-10

  1. Thank you for this little reminder of how easy it is for us to, unconsciously, allow small things to keep us from being close to our Lord.

  2. We all need to be reminded to be careful of the "idols" in our life. LORD bless.

  3. Ali;

    A much needed nudge for me. Time to begin work on next week's article, and part of me is going 'Lord is anybody really listening to what I say?'.
    But I know in my spirit that the bottom line is not who is listening, but am I applying myself to the burden the Father has lain upon my heart. So on I go, yes praying that my words will be a benefit to the Body of Christ, but more importantly that my obedience to the call will please and glorify our Lord.

    Blessings to you sister, and brotherly love in Jesus Christ;

  4. The Father' heart is that none should be lost, but all come to faith in His previous Son so we press on. Some plant, others water but Abba brings the increase. LORD bless.
