"Come to Me, trust in the goodness of your God, bow before Me. Words foreign to fallen man. Hardness of heart, self serving desires, a world gone mad with evil intent claim your thoughts and your minds.

Warnings are of no effect as blindly you travel a path strewn with the waste of others who have gone before. Messages of better days filled with blessings you accept. Messages filled with 'gloom and doom' as you like to refer to them you shun, you mock and then you ignore. Darkness cannot hide in the light so light must be rejected and darkness embraced.

Do not expect the glorious days of the republic to return. You rejoiced, but you did not repent."

"Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, "I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life." John 8:12

John MacArthur wrote ... 'Jonah’s message was far more than a fish story. It was a threat: “Yet forty days and Nineveh will be overthrown!” (Jonah 3) What happened next was a far more extreme and amazing miracle than the supernatural storm and the prophet-swallowing fish had been. The text declares the miracle in a seriously understated way: “The people of Nineveh believed God...'

To our great shame, the people of America do not.

  1. How I wish it were different and the USA did believe in God NOW. They will believe in God in the future when every knee shall bow.

    1. Until we own our sins we all fall short of the glory of God.
