The Senate's vote to defund Planned Parenthood seemed to be more about political optics than actually casting votes for the right thing. A bill that would have halted $500 million in annual federal funds from going to Planned Parenthood died when it failed to procure the necessary support.

I had expected nothing less from America'  political pundits be they Republican or Democrat who chatter and chirp but rarely accomplish much in the way of doing what is right, or noble or moral or godly.  However, I felt this was an opportunity, given to America by God, to stay the hand of our very long suffering, ever loving God. He had given America one more chance to turn the tide and do what was right in His sight.  Perhaps not politically correct in the eyes of far too many, but right in the eyes of God, yet....

American' - whether Christian or secular have no fear of God.  The fear of God, the beginning of wisdom holds no interest for the masses. Reverence for God and His Word is not found in the vast majority of churches today, as is evident from the nightly news headlines and Sunday sermons.  Too many are standing on the premesis rather than standing on the promises.

God gave us opportunity to stop the murder of the innocent, but it appears America wasn't interested.

Trim your lamps and prepare for battle (Ephesians 6). And to God be the glory.  He is our Resurrection and our Hope.  Fear not whatever awaits the true believer in the future.
