Is it not written, fear not? Yet…
A new survey by the Gallup organization finds that our worries about terrorism and race relations have increased dramatically over the last year.
The percentage of Americans who worry “a great deal” about a terrorist attack climbed 12 points from 2014, to 51 percent right now. Concerns about race relations are up 11 points to 28 percent. Fear over illegal immigration also jumped by six percent. Overall, solid majorities worry most about getting and affording healthcare and about the state of the economy, in addition to fears about terrorism.
It appears Americans, Christians included, have chosen to tremble in fear rather than stand in faith. It is obvious we as a nation know not our God. We have chosen to carry the circumstances rather than the cross.
In 1 Samuel 26 we read of David, strong in his faith, walking in the midst of his enemies, trusting God. In 1 Samuel 27 David is weak in faith and fearful, making his own decisions - fearing the future. In 1 Samuel 26 we see faith: “the LORD shall.…” In 1 Samuel 27:1 we see ~ fear: “I/me…..” but no mention of the LORD.
What happened to move David from a man of faith into the hands of the enemies of God? What happens to move us from faith to fear, from walking in victory to walking into the camp of the enemy?
“Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.” Revelation 2:10
Gird up your loins and FEAR NOT.!!!.

As the U.S. Supreme Court prepares to hear arguments on Tuesday (April 28) that could wind up legalizing gay marriage nationwide, dozens of Christian leaders have issued a call to civil authorities to preserve “the unique meaning of marriage in the law” — but also to “protect the rights of those with differing views of marriage.”
Let us unite in prayer, asking our LORD to forgive our nation and her people, to have mercy on us and to pour out His grace as we head toward this decision that will forever change this nation.
"Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God." 1 Corinthians 6:9-11

It is often difficult to keep perspective when one continually reads ~
ISIS has set up camp eight miles from El Paso, TX.
ISIS continues to behead Christians in the Middle East
Jade Helm 15 spells trouble for Christians across USA
Creflo Dollas doesn’t care what you think abut ‘his’ dreams for a new jet.
Navy chaplain told to stop praying in Jesus’ Name
Ads that read “killing Jews is worship that draws us closer to Allah” will be allowed on NYC buses
Yet, if we believe God is the same yesterday, today and forever, that He is in control then we must follow His Word instead of swallow internet hype and false flags scenarios …..
“And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:16-20
David had much to fear from the hand of King Saul, but we read;
“…David and Abishai came to the people by night; and there Saul lay sleeping within the camp, with his spear stuck in the ground by his head. And Abner and the people lay all around him. Then Abishai said to David, “God has delivered your enemy into your hand this day. Now therefore, please, let me strike him at once with the spear, right to the earth; and I will not have to strike him a second time!” But David said to Abishai, “Do not destroy him; for who can stretch out his hand against the Lord’s anointed, and be guiltless?” David said furthermore, “As the Lord lives, the Lord shall strike him, or his day shall come to die, or he shall go out to battle and perish…” I Samuel 26 7-9
David’ trusted God to take care of him. Tribulations, trials and trouble surround the child of God, [in this world you will have trouble, but take heart…] As David did so too must we trust God to take care of those that are His.

"...to the wicked God says: 'What right have you to declare My statutes or take My covenant in your mouth, seeing you hate instruction and cast My words behind you? ... You thought that I was altogether like you; but I will rebuke you....'" Psalm 50:16-21
A Nigerian bishop says that he has seen Christ in a vision and now knows that the rosary, [a prayer to Mary] is the key to ridding the country of the Islamist terrorist organization Boko Haram.
Bishop Oliver Dashe Doeme says he is being driven by a God-given mandate to lead others in praying the rosary until the extremist group disappears.
“Towards the end of last year I was in my chapel before the Blessed Sacrament… praying the rosary, suddenly the Lord appeared. In the vision Jesus didn’t say anything at first, but extended a sword toward me, and I in turn reached out for it. As soon as I received the sword, it turned into a rosary, then Jesus told me - three times: “Boko Haram is gone.”
“I didn’t need a prophet to give me the explanation,” he said. “It was clear that with the rosary we would be able to expel Boko Haram.”
The bishop said he didn’t want to tell anyone, but “felt that the Holy Spirit was pushing him to do so.” Bishop Dashe says he has a strong devotion to Christ’s mother, and that “I never joke with ‘Mamma Mary.’ I know she is here with us.”
Bishop Dashe is not the only Nigerian bishop putting the future of the country in the hands of Mary. The nation’s bishops’ conference has consecrated the country to Mary twice in recent years. CNA/EWTN News
"Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God...." 1 John 4:1

As the United States continues to negotiate with major world powers and Iran aimed at limiting the Middle Eastern nation's nuclear program in exchange for sanctions relief, the wife of American pastor Saeed Abedini says her husband, who has been imprisoned there for more than two and a half years for his faith, is being threatened by guards that he will never be freed unless he renounces Jesus Christ, and this he refuses to do.
PLEASE PRAY.!!!. We must lift our brothers and sisters who are suffering for their faith in prayer. they are counting on us, DO NOT FORGET THEM...!!!..

I saw this article several days ago; “Tennessee to designate Bible the state book.” Immediately, I felt in my spirit this was not the right thing to do. I was concerned. Now I read:
A proposed Tennessee bill to make the Bible the state book is generating mixed opinions from civil leaders, including the governor and lieutenant governor, who opine that the designation would “belittle” the value of the Holy Scriptures.
Gov. Bill Haslam stated: “Whenever the Church has become part of the official government, it hasn’t worked out well for the Church,” he added. “We look around the world, where the Church is strong and where it’s not, and historically where it’s gotten to be a close part of the government, it hasn’t ended well for the Church.”
Today the Bible, tomorrow the Quran the next day…….
"But we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness nor handling the word of God deceitfully, but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God." 2 Corinthians 4:1-2

It has been a bad year for California whose drought is rapidly approaching historic proportions: according to the LA Times, which cites climatologist Michael Anderson, “you’re looking on numbers that are right on par with what was the Dust Bowl.”
And… according to the USDA its about to get even worse.
“And I will break the pride of your power, and I will make your heavens like iron and your earth like bronze.” Leviticus 26:19
“A drought is against her waters, and they will be dried up. For it is the land of carved images, And they are insane with their idols.” Jeremiah 50:38
Americas iniquity knows no shame. Hollywood produces, the US government promotes, pulpits pander, Americans purchase and a holy righteous God punishes.

Iran has stepped up its efforts to support Hamas in Gaza, transferring tens of millions of dollars to Izzadin Kassam, Hamas’ military wing, to help with rebuilding efforts, the UK Telegraph revealed Sunday, 5 April, 2015. The funds have reportedly been allocated to the rebuilding of tunnels and restocking of missile arsenals destroyed by Israel during Operation Protective Edge. Iran’s renewed support is a sign of a revival in Iran-Hamas relations. In addition to backing Hamas, Iran has been funding the Shi’ite Houthi rebels in Yemen, and Shi’ite Iraqi government forces in Tikrit. A Western security official told reporters that the Iranians are “trying very hard to increase their influence throughout the Middle East region.” (J. Post)
IRAN’S PERSIAN STATEMENT ON “DEAL” CONTRADICTS AMERICAN CLAIMS:There has been no agreement on any of the fundamental issues that led to international concern about Iran's secret nuclear activities. All we have are a number of contradictory statements by various participants in the latest round of talks. The Persian text carefully avoids words that might give the impression that anything has been agreed by the Iranian side or that the Islamic Republic has offered any concessions. The American statement claims that Iran has agreed not to use advanced centrifuges, while the Iranian text insists that "work on advanced centrifuges shall continue." The American text claims that Iran has agreed to dismantle the core of the heavy water plutonium plant in Arak. The Iranian text says the opposite. The USA talks of sanctions "relief" while Iran claims the sanctions would be "immediately terminated." (NY Post)

US President Barack Obama said Sunday that it would be a “moral failure” of his presidency should Israel become weakened as a result of his policies.
In an interview with New York Times journalist Thomas Friedman on Sunday, the president stated, “I would consider it a failure on my part, a fundamental failure of my presidency, if on my watch or as a consequence of work that I’ve done, Israel was rendered more vulnerable."
I find this unbelievable to say the least.!!!
Written six years ago - yet perhaps in light of all that is happening more relevent now than then.BE ALERT TO THE SIGNS OF OUR TIMES!
"Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near." Revelation 1:2-4
America has been blessed with unusual freedom for more than two centuries. But now -- as multitudes reject God's Word, justify immorality, laugh at evil, and embrace depravity -- the protective walls of justice and integrity are fast eroding. In their place, we see a rising tower of global tyranny.
Americans are no longer safe from the persecution that has tested the faith of Christians through the centuries. In fact, God warns us that the global battle against Biblical Truth will surely intensify. While we don't know His timing, He tells us to be alert -- always ready to follow His way, trust His grace, and demonstrate His strength -- no matter how fierce the foe.
"For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand." Ephesians 6:12-18

"We are facing a "Dietrich Bonhoeffer Moment." You recall that he chose civil disobedience and disobeyed Nazi law that stated that protecting Jewish people was against the law. He was hung for his stand. He also said prior to his death, "Silence in the face of evil is evil itself. Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act."
Biblical Christianity shows us times when man-made laws contrary to divine laws are disobeyed. Moses was hidden for three months; Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego didn't bow to the idol; Daniel continued praying when it was illegal; Esther was willing to risk her life to approach the king; Peter and John would not refrain from preaching the gospel.
The Bible tells us, "The hour has come for you to wake up from your slumber" (Rom. 13:11). A jolt in the night is right around the corner! Brace yourself and prepare to face new challenges requiring risk-taking as the new normal in an increasingly secular society." Larry Tomczak
Whether one agrees or disagrees, definitely food for thought.

"And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed. By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words; for a long time their judgment has not been idle, and their destruction does not slumber." 1 Peter 2:2-3
Later this month Pope Francis will head to Pompeii ahead of his March visit to Naples… rooting the trip in prayer.
Pompeii’s Archbishop, Tommaso Caputo speaking to Catholic News Agency beamed with pride as he spoke:
“This seems to be a unique pilgrimage, from which this city of Mary will lead through the gateway of prayer. The road that leads to Mary is a fertile land for every pontificate,” he said, noting that this is all the more true for Francis, “the Pope who does not take a step of his travels in the world without first relying on Mary. It has become a habit for the Pope to entrust all of his apostolic and pastoral visits to Mary. Each time he goes on a trip, Francis stops and prays at his favorite Roman parish – the Basilica of St. Mary Major – when he returns, before heading to the Vatican.
We all know (Francis’) personal devotion to Mary, which has been manifested from the first moments of his election. One of the Pope’s greatest strengths is his love of praying the rosary,” he said, noting how Francis has often referred to it as “the prayer that always accompanies my life, also the prayer of simplicity and of the saints and the prayer of my heart.”
“Thou shalt have no other gods before me.” Exodus 20:3
