November 5, 2014.… What Now.?.

Expect the Unexpected.!!.

Be Watchful, Be Vigilant.!!.

“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Pray Continually, Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints..” Ephesians 6

Most of us can probably quote this scripture - chapter and verse. But….

Do we, His church, [not just in America, but around the world] stand strong in the LORD and in the power of His might.?. To me it would appear the answer to this question is.. NO

Are we able to stand against the wiles of the devil.?. That too does not appear to be the case.

Do we pray continually, with prayer and supplication in the Spirit [for all the saints].?.

Hmmm, how many times has your church or prayer group prayed with supplication for the persecuted Christians in the Middle East.?. How often has the church cried out for God to strengthen and purify His church?  How many times have you.?.

“And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead. Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God. Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.”

“And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew thee out of my mouth. Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

Our hope will never be found in Washington, D.C. in any man or in any mans policies.

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.”
