In October, 2010, The UN passed a resolution establishing an interfaith harmony week. Kick started by Jordan' Muslim King Abdullah and Price Ghazi, building bridges between Christian and Muslim, participants included Rick Warren, Bill Hybles, Jim Wallis, Mark Galli, senior managing editor of Christianity Today, members of the National Assoc. of Evangelicals, World Vision, Dallas Baptist University-Cook Graduate School and others.

Some look to a political solution to ease global tensions, others seek answers through religion. 'IF only the world's religions could get along, tensions would be reduced. Better yet, if they could somehow unite, there would finally be peace - right?' With this goal in mind, religious leaders and political powers alike are scrambling to support efforts aimed at uniting the world's religions.

BUT- without the support of the Christian church this goal will be impossible.True Bible believing followers of Jesus who believe it when Jesus said:

“I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." John 14:6

are standing in opposition to this one-world/interfaith agenda. Recognizing this, the one-world/interfaith movement is becoming increasingly hostile toward biblical Christianity which is becoming increasingly marginalized and maligned due to our insistence that:

"This Jesus is the stone that was rejected by you, the builders, which has become the cornerstone. And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:11-12

Loyal followers of Christ around the world - AND in America - can expect rejection and growing opposition. We must continue to hold out the only hope for mankind - Jesus and His atoning blood. IF our time in America is short, we must take every opportunity to share the gospel with this lost and dying world. As disciples of Jesus we must stay focused and not allow ourselves to be distracted by this world nor deceived by those who have the appearance of godliness, but deny it's power. IF our days of freedom are numbered, we must do all we can for the LORD while we are able. We must expose deception and lovingly proclaim truth.

Be committed and don't look back. Run the race well, all the way across the finish line - for the glory and honor of our LORD -

FOR HE IS WORTHY.
