American Life League is calling on the Vatican to sever its relationship with a group that promotes immoral policies.

Michael Hichborn, the host of the American Life League Report, made a recent and shocking discovery.

“Caritas Internationalis, which is the largest Catholic social justice agency in the world, is on the governing body of an organization called the World Social Forum,” Hichborn reports. “The World Social Forum is an international Marxist agency that parades through the streets carrying banners promoting contraception and abortion and homosexuality.”

Hichborn says the organization backed by the Vatican is not shy when it comes to advertising its leftist agenda.

According to Hichborn, they even had statues of pregnant women crucified on a cross signifying women crucified by fundamentalist thinking about abortion. So, it is quite clear to Hichborn that World Social Forum is a Communist organization opposed to principles of the Catholic Church.

“For the Catholic agency, Caritas Internationalis, to be a part of this organization, let alone be on its governing body is mind blowing,” Hichborn expressed. “There is really no reason for a Catholic organization to have anything to do with this group.”

American Life League is asking people to contact Cardinal Maradiaga, current president of Caritas, and ask him to completely disaffiliate with the Communist group.

As Christians await the rapture, unprepared for the tribulation.  As many stand watching for The Roman Empire to regroup and provide the Antichrist, we are overlooking the obvious.!!  

It's Islam we need to watch  - Turkey, Iran and Iraq for starters.

Since that initial assault, Islamic State has been strangling the Kurdish forces defending the city.

The world stands by as Islamic State continues the ethnic-cleansing and mass murder that it has conducted across Syria and Iraq. But most shameful is the fact that the Turkish army has sat just across the border and watched the carnage in Kobani.

When Kurdish protests broke out in Istanbul and across five provinces in Turkey on Tuesday, the police were swift to try to put them down, killing 21 protesters.

Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has engineered a dangerous game of blackmail, using the massacre of Kurds as collateral while warning that Kobani is about to fall."

WASHINGTON (October 9, 2014)- Evangelical author Os Guinness says churches have lost influence in America because Christians are fearful and compromised.

Guinness told an audience at the Family Research Council in Washington that the church is weak because it's worldly, at a time when the world needs "a positive and persuasive alternative vision of human flourishing."
He said too many American Christians lack the "courage to be different and to clearly make a stand" in a culture that's increasingly disdainful if not hostile to Christianity.
Guinness said modern culture's comfortable relativism has done more to undermine Christianity "than all the persecutors in history put together."

Sounds good, indeed the church is weak and worldly, but I see no mention of Jesus, sin, repentance, reconciliation, the gospel or salvation.  I also have a problem with his assessment of what the world needs.  The world needs Jesus Christ, but somehow that fact seems to have slipped his mind.

Perhaps instead of praying for God to bless America, it is time to pray that the hearts and minds of elected/appointed officials be turned from the world to The Word.

WASHINGTON (October 6, 2014) - The Supreme Court cleared the way Monday for an immediate expansion of same-sex marriage by unexpectedly and tersely turning away appeals from five states seeking to prohibit gay and lesbian unions. The court's order effectively makes gay marriage legal in 30 states.

Will Christians be the next target?

If we are to become all that our LORD intends us to be, if we are to become His witnesses throughout the world, if we are to rescue the perishing and care for the dying, our focus must be on Jesus. Jesus, The Word, The Son of God, The Name that calms our fears and sets the prisoner [in spirit, in soul or in body] free. We must become burdened for the lost, knowing deep within our heart, that apart from the saving work of the cross, mankind is lost in their sins, without hope, without life, without God.

His Word MUST become life to the hearer and bread for our soul. We must no longer run from conference to conference, from teacher to teacher to glean yet more and more knowledge. We must no longer sit and soak - becoming like the Dead Sea - taking in but never pouring out.

“My gracious Master and my God, assist me to proclaim, to spread through all the earth abroad the honors of Thy Name.”

Wars and rumors of wars surround the globe. Famines, earthquakes, Plagues - Ebola killing thousands with no end is sight, spreading to USA with first case confirmed in the Dallas area. Nations rising against nation. Muslims, following the teaching found in their holy book, the Quran, beheading hundreds of innocents. Harry Potter being taught instead of Bible - its easier to understand. [thx ep @ the end time]. Evangelicals embracing oneness with the RCC. On and on and on it goes.

Are we as His remnant prepared for what lies ahead?

“Whether you believe in a pre-tribulation rapture, or believe Christians will be witness to the full tribulation, wrath, and final judgments, there is work to be done. The beginning of birth pains we are seeing should have the same effect on all of us. It should motivate us to save as many souls as we can in the time that we have left.

The Great Commission tells us to be disciples to all nations, including our own, bringing the message of salvation through Christ to all people.

If the Church is raptured before the tribulation, it is important that we prepare by leaving behind an explanation for the trials and judgments that those left behind will face. How else will they recognize the deception of the anti-Christ and seek instead the truth of the Bible and also be able to recognize the signs of end times? If we are to endure the tribulation along side them, we will need to be prepared to not only share the message of salvation, but share with them the reasons for God's judgment and hold it up as further proof of their need to be saved.”

“strengthen the souls of the disciples, encouraging them to continue in the faith, and saying that through many tribulations we must enter the kingdom of God.” Acts 14:22

“ ...the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. For when they say, 'Peace and safety!' then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape. But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober." 1 Thessalonians 5:2-6

Watch and be sober…. Again I ask, are we His remnant prepared for what lies ahead?
