Soldiers attending a pre-deployment briefing at Fort Hood say they were told that evangelical Christians and members of the Tea Party were a threat to the nation and that any soldier donating to those groups would be subjected to punishment under the Uniform Code of Military Justice.

It is oft times necessary to be reminded that we, the twice-born of God, are “a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that [we] should shew forth the praises of Him who hath called [us] out of darkness into His marvelous light” 1 Peter 2:9

and then act accordingly.

  2. Over the last few months, I have had occasion to "learn" to trust Him more, learn to lean into Him, learn that He has everything under control and that nothing is to difficult for our God. Perilous days are ahead, we must all learn these hard lessons.
