In a moment of time....eternity forever.
What would we do if we knew we only had a month to live? A week, a day? Would we behave differently? Would our priorities change, would things once important pale in a moment?
We are called to be a light in the darkness; to shine, to share, to witness to warn, to pray to praise; to bring glory and honor to our King of kings and LORD of lords.
All hail King JESUS, all hail Emmanuel.
Do we use our time wisely or have the cares and challenges of the world crowded out the still small voice of Holy Spirit admonishing us to be about the Father' business?
Dark clouds hover overhead; evil lurks in the heart of man, swords have been drawn to bring freedom to its knees. Ghastly giants of lasciviousness have been unleashed upon the unsuspecting, the compromised, the unrepentant; ignored by millions they move about unrestrained and unencumbered.
The wicked man boasts of his own heart' desire, and the one greedy for gain curses and spurns, renounces, even despises the LORD. Seldom rebuked or called to account by church pastor, deacon, elder or member; he struts about in pride and arrogant defiance of Truth. When given a platform to share the good news of Christ, do we hedge, excuse, make allowances or misquote scripture to fit the current situation; all the while forces of evil continue to gain more and more ground?
We, the redeemed, are the voice of one crying in the wilderness. We are the voice of Truth to this sin-sick, lost and dying world. We are His miracle-working, ministering hands of service, His eyes of compassion and love. We are His voice of Truth calling the world to repentance and faith in Him.
We are the body of Christ.
