As the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse prepare to ride, spreading death and destruction in their wake, the church sits in glassy eyed silence while pastors cancel Sunday and/or Wednesday night services, shorten the sermon hour to twenty minutes, support the ecumenical concept of unity between Christianity and Islam - teaching God and Allah are one, all the while preaching watered down feel good mini- messages without substance to the lost and dying starving body of Christ.
Angry, perhaps a little. Frustrated, disappointed, heartsick - YES.!!.
With church attendance dwindling, the Middle East imploding, American morals eroding, the horsemen awaiting imminent orders from the Lamb to “Come” - this is not the time to skimp on the teaching of The Word, cancel Sunday night service, unite with Islam or languish in stupefied submission to theological trash while treasures remain buried, hidden from those who need them most.
“Prayer is a privilege purchased by the blood of Jesus Christ. Christ died for this end, it cost him the shedding of his blood, so that we, through Him, might have entrance to the throne of grace. And will you let such a privilege as this lie still? If you do, so far as is in you, you cause his blood to be shed in vain. For if you neglect the privileges gotten by that blood, you neglect the blood that procured them.” The Puritans on Prayer
“I searched for a man among them who would build up the wall and stand in the gap before Me for the land, so that I would not destroy it;
but I found no one.” Ezekiel 22:30
