This was written July 2, 2009, but sadly as relevant today as it was then.

“And I took the little book out of the angel’s hand and ate it, and it was as sweet as honey in my mouth. But when I had eaten it, my stomach became bitter. And he said to me: “You must prophesy again about many peoples, nations, tongues and kings.” Revelation 10:10-11

Each day grows darker. Clouds gather across this vast expanse of land we call home. Each day we are confronted with wars and rumors of wars, ‘men’s hearts failing them for fear’- daily it appears we are on the edge of loosing one more precious freedom. Struggling with feelings of depression, hopelessness, anger and pain, attempting to balance all that is happening in our world -

We are un-prepared to meet our Master - We are unprepared to greet our King.

“Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trials which is to try you, as though some strange thing has come upon you. But rejoice inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’ sufferings; that, when His glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.”  1 Peter 4:12-13

Many reach for the good times instead of the good news, the bottle instead of the Bible to cover their scars – wounds left to fester, scab over and fester again – but never to heal. Where is the good news? Where is hope to be found - ABC, CNN, Fox?

GROW UP! Refuse to live on milk; reach for the meat, the pure meat of the Word. Anyone who lives on milk is still an infant and is not acquainted with the teachings of Truth and Righteousness.

Cry out - "Restore us to You, O LORD, renew our days as of old." Lamentations 5:21

Do not remain as children in your thinking, take your place alongside those who have gone before.

"Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us." Hebrews 12:1

...and grow in grace and knowledge of our LORD and Saviour, Jesus the Christ. To Him be glory and honor now and forever. 2 Peter 3:18

HOPE! Here is our hope:

“Beloved, now we are the children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself,  just as He is pure.” I John 3:2-3

Scripture has been so Americanized that we believe God owes us a place in His kingdom – we deserve to receive blessing and honor and the praises of men. The gospel has so long been watered down that whether spoken from pulpit or television it is scarcely recognizable as “good news” by those who would have ears to hear.

We have taken as “gospel” all that we have seen and heard and must face the sad reality – we know neither our God nor His Word.

Who are we but sinners saved by grace through the death, burial and Resurrection of our LORD, Jesus Christ. What are we but sinners saved by grace through the death, burial and Resurrection of our LORD, Jesus Christ.

“Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man – and birds and four-footed beasts and creeping things.” Romans 12:22-23

Look around – see how the incorruptible God has been changed in the twenty-first century to fit the corruptible mindset of modern man. Man no longer worships birds, four-footed beasts or creeping things – but instead worships the works of their hands. While false teachers who preach and teach heresy are leading the world astray, the church seeks experience rather than relationship and many have exchanged the truth for a lie, worshipping and serving created things rather than the Creator.

We must stop putting our selfish interest above all that is God. If man will not worship God as God, God will leave man to his own devises and man will drown in a sea of misplaced loyalties, surrendered freedoms, apostasy and lies, (this appears to be the road we have continued to travel since first I penned this post almost ten years ago).

“IF My people who are called by My Name [He is talking to the church – not the world] will HUMBLE themselves, and PRAY and SEEK My face and TURN from their wicked ways, THEN I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” II Chronicles 7:14

Israel has not followed these teachings, neither has His church, the grafted in ones, but we as individual believers can -

The time to begin is NOW.

1/31/19....We as Americans have learned nothing in the ten years since this first posted....but now it appears America has turned a corner into depravity unimaginable ten years ago. Judgment is promised to the unrepentant rebellious among us. America look around, see what you have become. Wake up, raise up against the evil spreading like a cancer across the nation. Get off the pew and onto your knees. The stench of evil fills the air.

"Arise, shine for your Light has come and the glory of the LORD is risen upon you. Arise My children...no longer hide in religious shadows. Arise to fight the evil that is overtaking your land. The prayers of a righteous man avail much. Pray in unity with other believers, pray in the Spirit, pray in your prayer closets, your war rooms. PRAY.  Remember, God' greatest warriors battle on their knees. (Isaiah 60:1)

Arise, shine, arise shine. I call the wanderer, Come home. I call the rebellious, repent. I have sent My prophets, pastors, watchmen, teachers of The Word with My message...'Repent for the axe is at the root. Repent for the Kingdom is at hand. Repent...yet millions continue to ignore My warnings. Hardship,  turmoil, trouble on many fronts is coming to your nation, (a word received on 1/19/19). Her sins have long been ignored by pastor, priest; but The Prince of Peace has noticed and now must bring correction to a wicked and perverse generation. Evil reigns, hatred of all that is good rules the hearts and minds of millions. America has played fast and loose with satan. The church has winked at sin and now, refusing to repent she continues to languish in her bed of affliction she dreams of brighter, happier days filled with prosperity, lacking nothing. The church in America has lost sight of what is important while focusing on what is impotent. Her glory days long since past, she is wasting away.

My people have become lax in their devotion and worship of Me. No longer do they hunger and thirst for righteousness, now hearts are cold toward the things of God as the world crowds out all that is good, replacing it with flash and fantasy. (Jeremiah 3:2,13) The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak. My children lack commitment to finish the race set before them. Do not allow the things of the world to entrap you; to steal from you My Glory, (2 Corinthians 3:18)

It should come as no shock all the evil being poured out upon this nation. You were warned; pray, get ready and prepare for the evil that was to come. Why are you shocked? You had ample time to pray. What did you do with the time given you to prepare?  Church...you have remained silent; pastors, priests, parishioners have all remained silent except to express shock, grumble, murmur and complain but not to pray. This is only the beginning, this too you have been told. Evil has been released upon this nation. Once held in check, now evil spews forth across town and village. O, that you would trim your lamps and pray, prepare and seek My face.

The weariness of the warnings has caused millions to refuse to listen, to believe, to heed the Word of the LORD. Lives revolve around work and worry, money and material possessions but not My Word, My Son. What should be done to a nation that murders the innocent (this word received on 1/25/19), spews lies without restraint and abandons the faith of their fathers?" (after receiving the word on the 25th, Holy Spirit directed me read Revelation 16 and 17. Does this answer the question...that's for each of us to decide).  LORD bless as you take this and all words spoken by man to The Father who will give freely to those who ask. James 1:5

"And so it has begun, the battle for dominance, power and control. Good vs evil, power and control. Moral vs immoral, right vs. wrong. Little time remains to prepare for the harvest of souls that will come forth, battle scared and jubilant. The war in the heavenlies will be fierce, even now it begins. My people prepare to meet the enemy head on, clothed in battle array with your mighty two-edged sword at the ready. Know that your time is short...prepare now. Read, Study, PRAY.  Plant My Word deep within your heart.

My greatest warriors battle on their knees."

A day is coming when what happened in Mark 11:18 to our LORD will be fulfilled in Revelation 6:10 by those who chose the narrow road, the way marked with pain and suffering, the road to His Glory, His Kingdom. 

"The lateness of the hour demands you be attentative to the sound of the trumpet' blast, the alarms, the warnings. Do not ignore the still small voice that gives guidance and direction. The lateness of the hour demands all the redeemed of the LORD prepare for His coming.
Judgment will come. The righteous know their God, the rebellious know not the hour or the times in which we live.  Awake, arise, acknowledge. Lives cry for purpose for meaning. Millions cry but few hear the cries of the lost and dying.

Continue to walk in My anointing. Return to evil..good; to hurt..humility. Do not allow feelings to get in the way of faith. Long days ahead, hard, dark days. My people need each other, cast out vain imaginations and focus on My goodness. Do not allow the world, the flesh or the devil to rob you of peace. Saying nothing is often better than a harsh word spoken from hurt feelings that have no place in a child of God. You have been buried with Christ and risen again to a new life. Put on the new man...the old man stinks.

Men' hearts are cold, hard and desire not to be changed and those who speak life in Jesus Christ will be a threat to their way of life and must be silenced. This is the future of 'My church;'  MY church...mentioned in Matthew 16:18 is not a church of brick and mortar, but a church built with the spirit, soul and body of the redeemed of the LORD.  'The church' may fail but MY church (My people) will never fail."

 What a wonderful promise from His Word. Indeed the gates of hell will not overtake us...we have His Word on that.

"This what the LORD says: "Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls. But you said, 'We will not walk in it.' 17I appointed watchmen over you and said, 'Listen to the sound of the trumpet!' But you said, 'We will not listen.' 18Therefore hear, you nations; you who are witnesses, observe what will happen to them. 19Hear, you earth: I am bringing disaster on this people, the fruit of their schemes, because they have not listened to my words and have rejected my law." Jeremiah 6:16-19.

"As a father grieves for a wayward child, so too do I grieve for those who have a form of godliness but deny the power.  I grieve for those who have heard clearly My voice yet choose to ignore Me. I grieve for shepherds who preach a lukewarm gospel without substance necessary to sustain My people in the dark days ahead. My heart grieves as one after another choose the wide road ignoring the pitfalls the danger signs they move ahead. My heart longs to see My people following after righteousness, seeking forgiveness, acknowledging My Son, their Saviour. I grieve, but discipline must come to those who have turned their back on Truth, embrace a false gospel and play church. The church lives in shadows, unaware and unconcerned she dwells among the fallen in blissful ignorance. Condemned by her sins yet complicit in her relationship with the world, the flesh and the devil.

'Therefore, my brothers, you also died to the Law through the body of Christ, that you might belong to another, to Him who was raised from the dead, in order that we might bear fruit to God. For when we lived according to the flesh, the sinful passions aroused by the Law were at work in our bodies, bearing fruit for death. But now, having died to what bound us, we have been released from the Law, so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit, and not in the old way of the written code.…' Romans 7

Do you fill the chill; the chill of hearts far from Me? The changes I so desired for My people have not occurred. Now the stench of death is in the air. The death of all who hold dear your time, your talents, your money. These will not be able to secure your future apart from Me.

The brokenness of My people will not be repaired for repentence is lacking in hearts and lives. The church sings  'Joyful, Joyful we Adore Him' with hard hearts filled with unforgiveness, bitterness, resentment, strife and hatred. Stop your pretense, these have no place in pulpit or pew.

You have exchanged My Word for the world now fear, alarm and uncertainty will fill your days and long long nights. REPENT wayward child, REPENT! Yet America refuses. Again and again the church wallows in the mud of immorality without regard for My holy Name. A stumbling block you have become."

"Therefore repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord; "But the things which God announced beforehand by the mouth of all the prophets, that His Christ would suffer, He has thus fulfilled." Acts 3:18-19

"You have no idea the evil of this nation. Hidden, cloaked in darkness hides the evil of mankind."

(I admonish you to seek God; what He would have you to do in this dark hour. The threats are real, but prayer changes things, 2 Chronicles 7.14.  God answers prayer. Pray against the powers of darkness in high places. Pray for confusion within the ranks of those that seek to steal, kill and destroy. Pray the plans of the evil ones are brought down as we lift high The Name of our JEHOVAH God).

Holy Spirit reminded me of an iceberg. What we see above the water is far, far less than what is hidden beneath the surface.

"What lies beneath the surface, hidden to the natural eye is America' filth, the filth of ages,  corruption, greed, murder, malice...piled one upon another, growing steadly more and more wicked, more deceptive...more daring. Satan works tirelessly to achieve his objective...to kill, steal and destroy. 2019 will bring much bloodshed to America. O, how I desired to bless the nation, abundantly blessing, but America went her own way.  Choosing her own path to destruction, with the church leading the way, one then another bowed to the forces of evil.

The danger to America was great but the promises of the government brought millions under subjection to the king. Churches stood weak kneed with outstretched hands; swallowing the promises they too soon fell before the king."

The king, who is this 'king' I asked.  "The king, the ruler of darkness, the prince of the power of the air, the deceiver, the author of confusion, murder and mayhem in America and around the world. He is the 'king'. In America a joke to many, he plays his part well as the darkness continues to engulf America and the world.

Donald J. Trump was chosen for this hour... Pray for him as president, pray for him that he draw closer to Me, pray for his peace and protection. The evil  planned against him is real. You have no idea what hatred can do to a person. Donald Trump is in much danger" (I ask for a scripture to confirm what I heard regarding Mr.Trump and received the following 'Do not take away my soul along with sinners, my life with those who are bloodthirsty, in whose hands are wicked schemes, whose right hands are full of bribes.' Psalm 26:9-10).

'Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which is from God. The authorities that exist have been appointed by God. Consequently, the one who resists authority is opposing what God has set in place, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves.…' Romans 13:1-2

'He changes times and seasons; he deposes kings and raises up others. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning. Daniel 2:21

"There is none so blind as those that refuse to see. Watch, listen, be amazed. Plans are underway to bring down the government, assassinate the president, bringing civil war, marshall law and government control to your land. Christians will be targeted as they begin their systematic 'cleansing' to drain the swamp. Even now men and women in high positions have joined forces with evil to bring down the POTUS and the nation, ruling supreme under the leadership of lucifer.

Remember the iceberg. The threat is real, their power is great, but"

'You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.' 1 John 4:4

Although My church is not counted among the mega churches of today...she stands as a small light in a vast darkness.

The church has failed, My church stands straight and strong and tall. Small though she may be she must continue to speak the truth. Refuse to be like the mighty, the mega, the condemned. Let the weak say 'I am strong.'  The sins of America began at the doorsteps of the church.

'I trust in you LORD. I say, “You are my God. My times are in Your hands; deliver me from the hands of my enemies, from those who pursue me. Let Your face shine on your servant; save me in Your unfailing love.' Psalm 31:14-16

Remember the gates of hell will not prevail against MY church. Where two or three are gathered I am among them. 2019 will bring heartache and destruction yet many will come to faith in My Messiah. At this time, allow your love for Me to outshine your frustration with others (perhaps only a word intended for me). Allow bitterness, resentment, anger to fall away as you embrace My goodness, My Word, My ways. Do not allow the flesh to destroy your witness. Many are watching, make the most of each moment, each opportunity.

I love israel. I never stopped loving Israel. Even in her rebellion and disobedience I loved her. So too I love rebellious, disobedient America.  But My love does not mean I will not discipline. As I did with Israel so too will I do with America. Like a good father, I discipline those I love. Judgment begins in the household of God. Much turmoil awaits the church in 2019, be prepared...be of good cheer - remember I have overcome the world. Stand in My authority, robed in My righteousness, under the Blood of The Lamb. Rejoice in The LORD always, rejoice and be glad. Strengthen the weak knees, refresh the fainting and replenish the manna.

2019 has arrived...open the gates and allow My Holy Spirit to flow. My people perish from lack of knowledge."

Holy Spirit directed me to read all of Jeremiah Chpt.10 and Romans Chpt. 6. I pray you will also read and allow Holy Spirit to speak to you through His Word, the scripture.

"Times of deliverance are upon you.  Time to reflect, reconnect, repent and reconcile. My yoke is easy My burden light, Matthew 11:28-30.

[Urgent: 1/5/19... NP much evil. Pray against her power of persuasion, her influence over others. Remember you wrestle not against flesh and blood...PRAY]

What awaits man in days ahead...the anguish of soul, the evilness of spirits, the pride and arrogance of man, will catch many by surprise. Those not anchored in TheTruth will fall.  Millions have been told lies, lies passing as truth.  Millions have based their life, their destiny on lies.

God wants you wealthy. If you are sick, it is the result of your own sin. God is not a god of wrath but a god of love. We all worship the same god. On and on the lies continue, flowing forth from church, mosque and synagogue. I have called My church to live in The Light yet millions continue to live in darkness. I have called My church to be My witness yet millions continue to accept lies as they abandon The Truth.

12/27/18...2019 will be a year of much change. Upheaval, trouble on all fronts. America is not exempt from these evils; for long ago America sold her birthright for money, power and the glory of the world. Yes, America will fall and hard will be her fall. Millions are not prepared for her great fall. Repent My people (if MY people who are called by MY Name will humble themselves, PRAY....and turn from their wicked ways...2 Chronicles 7:14). Repent I cry but My Words fall on deaf ears. So be it. America has made her decision and now the consequences are her' to bear.

12/28/18...Let My glory fill your life. Do not allow life to destroy the glory I have promised. Embrace Me, love Me as I have loved you. Make Me a part of your every day. My glory is My presence. In days ahead you will need My presence. Many obstacles to your faith will come in 2019. Prepare for trials and problems through prayer and bible reading. Learn My Word. 2019 will bring hardship for many. The church has failed to teach and train My people, she will suffer greatly for her lack of commitment to Truth. Remain faithful, expect the unexpected. Church leaders will fall under the weight of their sin. Pray that you enter not into temptation, the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak, Matthew 26:41.

12/30/18...As the new year approaches, become aware of the fallenness of man, their failures, rebellion, discord, hatred of others. 2019 will see the increase of evil in the land for satan feels he has gained control of your nation. Speak to My remnant 'Take Back, take back what the enemy has stolen. Your weapons are not carnal but mighty for the pulling down of strongholds, 2 Corinthians 10:4.

As I drifted off to sleep, I heard Holy Spirit say, 'There is a difference between the church and MY church.' The following is what I heard in my spirit the following evening...."The church is failing...My church will endure. The church has lost its first love...My church is rooted and grounded in faith. The church seeks approval...My church seeks righteousness. The church desires position...My church desires humility. The church will fall...My church will stand and proclaim The Glory of The LORD.

......I will build MY church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." Matthew 16:18

On 9 December, 2018 Holy Spirit spoke....

"Your calling is to shake the sheep and awaken the wandering. Focus on what My church has lost. Others see not what you see and you do not see what they see. You are part of the body and a body functions as a whole.

I have shifted your calling away from prophecy, and now you must speak life back into the dead. My church has drifted far, far away from its calling. Call the redeemed back to righteousness. Call the wanderers back to the narrow way, the sheep back to the fold. Most will not listen, desiring instead to focus on the sensational, the WOW word, but do what I have called you to do. There remains a remnant, small, yet strong and mighty. With those I Am well pleased. With millions of others...you have been warned.

The heart of man is wicked, deceitful, disobedient and cruel. Without My Spirit men would destroy each other. I have come that they might have life, not death. I have come yet millions continue to reject My Truth."

The heart of awatchmanonthewall as 2018 ends making way for 2019....I watched as things spoken in secret were revealed and I wondered 'where is the church?' I stood by as one after another fell under the weight of sin and I wondered 'where is the church?' My eyes fill with tears as I watch my nation fall farther and farther away from JEHOVAH God, falling deeper and deeper into sin and I wonder....'where is the church?'

What awaits America in 2019.....

"My church, called to be a beacon on a hill, a lighthouse in the darkness, a shelter in the time of storm has thrown the sheep to the wolves, tarnished the truth, slandered the Saviour and weakened the word. America will fall because Americans will not repent. Her days are numbered, her time is short. As a nation she has allowed dissention to reign. As a people self gratification has, for too long, ruled the heart of man. The church in America has refused correction, embraced sin and allowed the doctrine of demons to spew forth from the pulpit; yet she sees herself as righteous and holy before Me.

2019 will see much destruction. Evil forces will bring much turmoil to many nations. Heartache and loss will fill many with dread, depression and fear. Homes will be lost, lives destroyed. The time is at hand. I have withheld My judgments many days yet repentence has not come. Now many will see what sin and disobedience has brought upon them. Many will cry out to be hidden from Me, but few will cry out to be sheltered by Me. Great devastation in 2019. Governments will topple, rulers will fall, disaster will strike.

Seek the LORD while He may be found. Call upon Him while He is near. Let the weak say they are strong. Find your strength in Me for the turbulent days of 2019."

After completion of this post Holy Spirit directed me to Jeremiah Chpt. 6 - Please read, keeping America and other nations around the world in mind as you read.

"And they cried to the mountains and the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of the one who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb." Revelation 6:16

"Say to them, 'As I live!' declares the Lord GOD, 'I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that the wicked turn from his way and live Turn back, turn back from your evil ways...."Ezekiel 33:11

"...but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish." Luke 13:3
