As October 31, American's [both children and adult] celebration of occultism - a symptom of the spiritual battle that rages throughout the year, approaches remember:

" …although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools… and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator…. Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness… to vile passions…. [and finally] to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit...."  Romans 1:21-32

Most people follow the masses, and the masses follow the media -- especially when it promotes thrills and adventures that feed the lust for forbidden thrills. The occult has always focused on gory images of violence, death and destruction. We see it in today's media, music, and movies. As people become desensitized to occult violence and horror, the images in popular entertainment grow increasingly and indescribably more evil.

And Santa is waiting - just around the corner.!!.
"... have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret." Ephesians 5:9-14

  1. Some of the tattoos I see on people are terrifying, images that would make your skin crawl; however, in this day and age, it barely causes a second look. Instead, it is seen as 'sweet', 'epic', or whatever the latest 'fad' in language used to describe something the world deems as cool may be.

The increase in demonic activity and what it spawns is totally oblivious to most people because they themselves are in darkness.

    Good post sister

  2. And Santa is waiting just around the corner - then comes the Easter Bunny and then October 31st.

As churches have Easter egg hunts, Christmas trees and harvest festivals - I wonder how we could ever think we are salt and light.??.
